Nursery/Pre-School Admissions

Woodlands Nursery has a purpose built Nursery and Pre-School located in the Infant department which is run by a qualified Teacher and highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistants.

There are two classes each offering 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions or there is some flexibility for full days and children attend to comply with the 15/30 hour funding legislation. Extra sessions can be paid for. All children are automatically eligible for the 15hrs free childcare from the term after their 3rd birthday. Some 2 year olds may also be eligible for 30hrs free childcare based on their families economic or social status. To check your eligibility for the 30hrs free childcare for working families of children aged 9mths to 4yrs, please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

The school's Pre-School/Nursery Policy outlines admission criteria, oversubscription criteria and the protocol for In Year admissions, should vacancies occur.

Nursery/PreSchool applications should be made directly to the school by completion of an application form, available from the School Reception or you will find a printable form at the bottom of this page.

For more information please contact Miss J Bell, Clerical Officer, by email: j.bell@woodlands.cheshire.sch.uk or call in at the Infant Reception.
