Neurodiverse Parent/Carer Group Meetings
Our Neurodiverse Parent/Carer Group was set up to raise awareness of Neurodiversity and what this means for the children in our school.
Neurodiversity means having a brain that works differently from the average or 'neurotypical' person.
We're aware that parents often find it difficult to access support and want to talk through their lived experiences with other parents who can offer reassurance that they are going through something similar.
In our meetings we aim to focus on different aspects of neurodiversity; ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia as well as other conditions and differences.
Visitors may be invited to chat to the group and answer any questions e.g. members of the paediatric team, CHAPs.
